FUNDY

SILVERADOS

We are a group of guys who are members of the Sussex and Area Seniors' Centre.  We get together every Tuesday morning at 9:30 for fun and friendship.  Or arrive early around 9 AM and listen to the fiddle, banjo, organ, guitar and singing.

Our meetings usually last one and a half  hours.  We start out singing “O Canada” and have a guest speaker at most meetings who talk and answer questions about  topics of interest .  We have a Fines Master who cajoles members to pay $.25 for dastardly deeds that has been noticed by him and/or others.  Members sometimes bring in objects to be auctioned off for a very reasonable price.  We adjourn our meetings with the singing of  “The Queen.” 

We also have dinners and other activities with our spouses/companions throughout the year.

The cost for A FUNDY SILVERADO membership is $60 PER year which can be paid in three month increments. 

The membership votes on what LOCAL charitIES should receive extra funds we may have.
